  • MTHFR Clinical Total Methyl B 1/4 capsule has approximately the same amount of L-5-MTHF and Methyl Vitamin B12 as MTHFR Wellbeing Total B Drops 5ml and higher amounts of other nutrients.

Dosage: 

  • As a guide, 1/4 capsule of MTHFR Clinical Total Methyl B will give a similar amount of L-5-MTHF and Methyl Vitamin B12 to 5ml of MTHFR Wellbeing Total B Drops. Adjust the dose as needed with guidance from the practitioner.

  • Micronutrients and B vitamins to support healthy development, immune resistance and general wellbeing in adults with ADHD.
  • MTHFR Wellbeing Total B Drops 5ml dose is similar to Metagenics High Strength BioEssentials 1/4 tablet and greater range of ingredients

Dosage:

  • Adult dosage: take 1 tablet twice daily with food
  • Child's Dose: 1/4 to 1 tablet per day depending upon age, weight and need as advised by practitioner

Mechanism of Action/Clinical Research:

  • In individuals with neurobehavioral disorders aged between three to eight years old, supplementation of a multivitamin containing beta-carotene, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, folic acid, biotin, calcium, magnesium, zinc amongst other nutrients supplemented over three months was shown to significantly improve gastrointestinal symptoms and sleep.
  • Vitamin C is required for the synthesis of neurotransmitters, including noradrenaline, dopamine and serotonin.
  • Vitamin B6 is involved in the production of several neurotransmitters,[80] including the conversion of histidine to histamine, tryptophan to serotonin, glutamate to GABA, and dihydroxyphenylalanine to dopamine, as well as the synthesis of adrenaline and noradrenaline.
